Reading Articles

The article list supports various filtering options:

FilterDescription
FeedView articles from a specific feed
FolderView articles from all feeds in a folder
Unread/ReadShow only unread or read articles
Read LaterShow only articles marked for read later
Like StatusShow only liked or disliked articles

Glean provides two view modes:

Displays all articles in reverse chronological order, suitable for browsing latest content.

Layered display based on your reading preferences:

  • Auto-mark: Automatically marked as read when opening article details
  • Manual toggle: Click the status icon in the article list to toggle

Quickly mark all articles as read:

  1. Mark all subscribed articles
  2. Mark articles from a specific feed
  3. Mark articles from a specific folder

Explicitly express your preference for articles:

Save articles to the read later queue for later reading.

  1. Click the read later icon in the article list
  2. Or click the “Read Later” button in article details
  1. Select “Read Later” in the filter
  2. Or click the “Read Later” entry in the sidebar

Read later queue supports automatic cleanup:

Cleanup only removes from the queue, articles themselves are not deleted.

Click an article to view details:

  • View full content
  • Access original link
  • Give like/dislike feedback
  • Add to bookmarks
  • Add to read later

Every article retains its original link, allowing you to visit the source website anytime.
